LED Warranty Policy

ASG Energy, LLC

ASG Energy, LLC warrants its LED lighting products and accessories to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of up to 60 months (see product spec for exact period).  If an ASG Energy lighting product fails to operate during the warranty period, ASG Energy will provide a free repair or replacement of the failed product in accordance with Terms and Conditions set forth below:

  1. Warranty period: 3-5 Years from the invoice date for product, 3-5 year from date of the installation for installation services provided by ASG Energy Certified Installation team members.
  2. Covered Products
    1. 5 Year Covered products (50,000 – 100,000 HR lifetime Products):

i.     Commercial Exterior Products: Area Lighting, Retrofit kit 110W, 68W and 40W versions, Wall Packs, Flood lights, High-Bay, Garage lighting fixtures and street lighting

ii.     Commercial Indoor Products: Linear T-8, Recessed Down-light Fixtures

iii.     All DLC Product offerings

  1. 3 Year Covered Products (25,000-35,000 HR Lifetime Products)

i.     Commercial outdoor products:  Acorn Garage and Post top Lighting

ii.     Commercial Indoor Products:  MR 16’s, G24 Lamps, Globe Lamps, PAR 30, PAR 20, Neon Lighting, Rope Lighting, String Lighting, Signage lighting.

  1. Warranty Conditions – The warranty applies if any of the following occurs:
    1. Failure of function without external factors or acts of god.
    2. Light flickering not caused by a short in line or lose wiring.
    3. Failure of more than 10% of LED diodes within individual products
    4. ASG Energy, LLC liability under the limited warranty with Installation by certified ASG Energy Installation team member and warranty premium on installation paid.:
      1. Within the warranty period, outlined in Section 2 “Covered Products” if a bulb is determined inoperable by a client, the client shall email the warrantysupport@asgenergyllc.com email address and include a picture of the bulb and provide the following information:

i.     Date of inoperability,

ii.     location of bulb,

iii.     Date of purchase,

iv.     Invoice Number

v.     Sales representative

  1. ASG Energy, LLC warranty support member, will typically respond with scheduled date of service for warranty claim.  At time of service, if repair can be made to correct the issue the technician is authorized to make repair, in the event the bulb cannot be repaired a new product will be supplied at no cost.
  2. ASG Energy, LLC liability under the limited warranty with no installation services:
    1. Within the warranty period, outlined in Section 2 “Covered Products” if a bulb is determined inoperable by a client, the client shall email the warrantysupport@abacussg.com email address and include a picture of the bulb and provide the following information:

i.     Date of inoperability,

ii.     location of bulb,

iii.     Date of purchase,

iv.     Invoice Number

v.     Sales representative

  1. ASG Energy, LLC warranty support member, will respond with an Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) Request number for the warranty claim.
  2. The client must return the bulb, in its original packaging, to the location included in the RGA.  Product must be received within 10 days of receiving the RGA and shipping box must clearly contain the RGA number on the outside.  Once received ASG Energy Service team, at ASG Energy sole discretion will determine if bulb can be repaired, if repair is possible, ASG Energy will commence repair and return the bulb to the client.  If a repair cannot be made then a new product will be supplied at no cost.
  3. Un-Repairable or Discontinued Components or Products:
    1. If certain components can-not be repaired, and the defectiveness rate is more than 10% of LED diodes, ASG Energy, LLC will offer new components for replacement at no extra cost.
    2. In the event the product is discontinued or no longer in production, a product of greater or equivalent features will be provided.
    3. Disclaimer –   ASG Energy Reserved the right to examine all claimed defective lighting products to determine the cause of the failure and proper usage and installation methods were used, and reserves the right, at its sole discretion as to whether any ASG Energy Lighting products are in fact defective and covered under this warranty.
    4. Exclusions –  This warranty does not cover the followings:
      1. Problems caused by improper operation of the buyer, including

i.     Goods dismantled or modified without approval by Abacus Solutions Group, LLC

ii.     Force Majeure and other acts of God

iii.     Operation temperatures that exceed the range of -40℃ to 85℃

iv.     Customer replaces components/parts with those that did not come from ASG Energy, LLC

v.     Repair work done by unauthorized personnel without ASG Energy, LLC approval

  1. Customer’s liability:
    1. Customers must provide clear pictures, description, or correspondence to verify the defectiveness.
    2. Customers must retain original product packaging for return of product in event of failure.

Limits of Liability: The forgoing shall constitute the exclusive remedy of the purchases and the sole liability of ASG Energy for our lighting products.  In particular no warranty or merchant-ability or fitness for a particular purpose is made or implied.  In no event shall ASG Energy be liable for any other costs or damages, including lost profits or revenues, incidentals, special or consequential damages.
